"After growing tired of thumbing through so many uninspired dishes on other apps, I decided to make 5-Star Dish to showcase only the best. If you want to discover and share only the most memorable dishes, then please try it!”
- Bill LaSalle, Founder

This is an app for those who don’t care to wade through screen after screen of mediocre dishes in the hope of finding something great. All you want is an excellent dish – not just ok, not pretty good, but a 5-Star Dish!

What to know

No chain restaurant with more than 5 locations is allowed. This app is about discovering and sharing great chef-driven creations.

All account holders are empowered with the ability to flag and remove bad or inappropriate posts, as well as flag and sanction other users.

We think this system will produce an invaluable catalog of the best dishes out there. But we depend on the honesty and good judgment of all those who celebrate finding and sharing only the best dishes.

Download the iPhone app today! If you don't use an iPhone, keep watching as we roll out future platforms.

Features

Search 9 different ways in Find Dish mode for truly great dishes!

Post your own great finds either remotely after your discovery, or while you’re still in the restaurant.

Finish writing the details of any post later, by saving as a draft. That way you can spend more time at the table with your dinner companions.

Registered users may flag any post for specific reasons, in order to maintain the quality of the database. After a post has been flagged 5 times, it’s removed.

Any agenda-driven flags that other users disagree with may be countered by the “Love it” button. One flag will be removed after each 5 “Love it” hits.

Share your finds and favorites on Facebook and Twitter.
